The extra clutter along the edges drive me crazy sometimes when I want to print a nice document of a webpage. It doesn’t always matter, but often I don’t want the extra details like the URL, page numbers, date, etc. Here’s how you can leave those off:
Internet Explorer -
- From the Print menu, click Page setup (or hold ALT + F, then hit Print setup)
- Delete everything from the Header and Footer fields
- Click OK
Firefox -
- From the File menu, click Page Setup
- Click the Margins & Header/Footer tab
- In the Headers and Footers area, set all the fields to –blank–
- Click OK
Now print clean pages of exactly what you wanted!
