i just was checking out your email you just sent. there is another website you can go to, and it does everything from changing color, sizing, red eye, croping, rotating, you can even turn your pictures into puzzles. the whole nine yards.

there is no registration or anything and it literaly takes a second to upload a photo. it is a great site for those who do not have photoshop. i dont know if you want to check it out or not, but i recomend it to everyone that i talk to.

Jacques,

Thanks for the comments. I've not used Picasa although I am aware of it. I'm glad to know it works well for you. The options I listed on this Tip doesn't do the topic complete justice and we really need to focus a series of Tips on this to catch everyone's needs.

FYI, Picasa does have a plugin for Photo Gallery: http://www.labnol.org/software/upload-pictures-to-picasa-from-live-photo-gallery/6294/

Again, thanks for your input. I'll try Picasa out and try to feature it sometimes soon.

Happy New Year!

Hi, Joshua.

First, have a good 2009 according to your wishes.

Second, your info on working with photos is good, but there is also Picasa
3, which I use and is quite convenient, at least for me. I deal with family
photos and it helps me to improve the stuff quite easily. Go to their
website and download for free.

Regards
